Documents for the GST registration depend on the type of the legal structure of the business. Here we have different types of legal structures like as

  • Private Company
  • Partnership
  • Proprietorship
  • One Person Company
  • Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)
  • Individual
  1. Private Limited / public Limited Company and One Person Company Documents For GST Registration:

Company documents:

  • PAN card of the company
  • Copy of Bank Statement
  • Declaration to comply with the provisions
  • Copy of Board resolution
  • Registration Certificate of the company
  • Memorandum of Association (MOA) /Articles of Association (AOA)

Directory related documents:

  • Directors Pan and ID proof

Registration Office documents:

  • No objection certificate of the owner
  • Copy of electricity bill/ water bill and landline
  • Rent agreement (if places are rented)
  1. Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) documents:

LLP Documents:

  • LLP Partnership agreement
  • Copy of Bank Statement of the LLP
  • Declaration to comply with the provisions
  • PAN card of the LLP
  • Registration Certificate of the LLP
  • Copy of Board resolution

Designated Partner related documents:

  • Designate partners Pan and ID proof

Registered Office Documents:

  • No objection certificate of the owner
  • Rent agreement (in case premises are rented)
  • Copy of electricity bill/landline bill, water Bill

Partnership related documents:

  • Designed partners ID proof and PAN

Registered Office Documents:

  • No objection certificate of the owner

  1. Sole proprietorship / Individual documents:

Individual documents:

  • Copy of cancelled cheque or bank statement
  • PAN card and ID proof of the individual
  • Declaration to comply with the provision

Registration Office Documents:

  • Copy of electricity bill/landline bill, water Bill
  • Rent agreement (in case premises are rented)
  • No objection certificate of the owner

Photograph where ever needed in the Application Form:

  1. Association of Person or Body of Individual –Managing Committee Members
  2. Local Authority – CEO or his equivalent
  3. Statutory Body – CEO or his equivalent
  4. Designated Partners / Partnership Firm / Authorized/ LLP – Managing (photos of only managing partner should be submitted)
  5. HUF – Karta
  6. Company – Managing Director or the Authorised Person
  7. Proprietary Concern – Proprietor
  8. Trust – Managing Trustee
  9. Others – Person in Charge

Proof of Principal / Additional Place of Business

  • For Rented or Leased premises: A copy of legal rent/lease Agreement with any document in support of the ownership of the premises of the Lessor like latest property tax receipt or copy of Electricity Bill or Municipal Khata
  • For own premises: any supporting document of the ownership of the premises like latest property tax Receipt or copy of Electricity Bill or Municipal Khata
  • For Premises who doesn’t come under (a) & (b) – A copy of the authority letter with any document in support of the ownership of the premises of the consenter such as copy of Electricity Bill or Municipal Khata

Bank Account Related Proof:

  • Scanned copy of Bank Passbook first page / Bank statement copy

GST Authorization Form:

Copy of Resolution of the Managing Committee or Authorization or Board directors to be filed, For Every Authorized Signatory specified in the Application Form.  as the below format.
